Gold Chips
All players earn Frequent Player Points (FPPs) when playing in our real money ring or tournament games. At PowerPoker, FPPs accumulate to become Gold Chips, which are redeemable for free tournament play and the Power Shop.
Turning FPPs to Gold
The question you are likely asking is, how do my FPPs become Gold? The exchange process of FPPs to Gold Chips is automatic. FPPs accumulated turn in to Gold Chips at a descending rate; each calendar month, after earning your first Gold Chip, you'll need fewer FPPs to earn your next. And so on. Earning FPPs is based on the Gold Chip index below. Please note the earn rate below is reset at the beginning of each calendar month.

Frequent Player Points
When you are dealt cards in a real money ring game, you'll earn 1 FPP for every dollar raked. At PowerPoker, we believe a penny played should be a penny earned, so we're accurate down to the penny when it comes to FPPs. For example, if your table was raked $1.25, you will receive 1.25 FPP.
In tournament play, you'll earn 7 FPPs per dollar in tournament fees paid. The tournament fee paid is indicated by the "(+ $)" when registering for a tournament. For example, if you joined our $100,000 Guarantee event for $300 (+$20), you would earn 140 FPPs.

Win the race and you could be playing heads-up against "Ziigmund" himself and compete for not only glory, but also $5000.
To win this unique package, simply collect as many PowerPoker gold chips as possible and you could be going to the United Kingdom to play against Ilari. You will also get the opportunity to get to know him in person and learn how he has become one of the most respected high-stakes players in the world.
Keep your eyes glued to this page as it will be here that you will see how well you are doing in the race. The top 30 board leaders will have their names shown in order of most gold chips.
The event will take place on the following date: March 1 to March 31 2009.
1) Winner gets a package to London to play Ilari heads-on with $5000 guaranteed prize pool (the prize includes flight to London and hotel for 2 nights).
2) Winner will get to choose a name for a poker table at PowerPoker
On March 1st 2009 PowerPoker will announce the winner and will start organizing his/hers trip to London in May 2009. Make sure you are available from May 13th to May 15th 2009 to come to the UK.
Terms and Conditions apply:
1) Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
2) PowerPoker reserves the right to makes additions or alterations to these terms
3) By participating in this promotion, you grant PowerPoker the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
4) You agree to help promote PowerPoker during and after the heads-up tournament against Ilari, including (but not limited to) meeting with press and interviewing with TV crew
5) The winner will be required to wear PowerPoker logo-wear throughout the heads-up tournament against Ilari.
6) There will be no cash equivalent for the winner of this promotion.
7) The winner is responsible to have a valid passport/visa (if required) and all other documentation necessary to play Ilari in the UK.
8) Participating players must be available to travel to the UK on May 13th and returning May 15th
9) The package includes flights, accommodation and a heads-up tournament against Ilari himself. PowerPoker will pay up to $1000 USD for the winner’s flight to the UK as well as 2 nights in a hotel.
