Hey man what happened? Did you give up? Better get back on the grind to get some cash to splash in Vegas 8-) Keep focusing on bumhunt/table selection and don't just open any random table. If you're feeling too lazy to do that then u better not play at all at that moment imo

No much to update. Ive been grinding little bit of NL50HU, no much and not every day. Games have went almost break even, some day I win and some day I lose. My month is still few buy ins down mostly because of two -6 buy in days in beginning of month. I almost had my month break even but then I suddenly came 7 buy ins down.

Today I had few big pots against maniac spewy Swedish players. He 3betted me 38% and I 3betted him about 25-30%. He was mostly spewy maniac and losing player when looking from PTR.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5276076 I think this is mostly draw when he plays it like this. It was 49/51 flip that I lost.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5276056 Here I mostly wanted him to fold everything but Kx or AA but he made nice catch here.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5276087 This Villain was also Swedish losing player. If I wouldnt hit two pairs here I would have just called this down.

I got my month break even mostly because I got up yesterday 4 buy ins. Yesterday I ran about 3 buy ins better than EV but last three days I ran more than 3 buy ins below EV. But its nice that I win some flips too :)

Im using pretty intresting "BRM" right now. I now that I might heat up when I play and when I play C-D game Im losing lots of money. Because of that I deposit 1-2 buy ins (if I need to) every time I play and when I quit playing I withdraw all my winnings exept that amount I deposited. That makes me play more carefully and basicly forces me to bumhunt more. And If I lose my money I wont deposit more. Im having kind a stoploss :) Its nice to do this because deposit from Neteller is instant and withdraw takes about 24h maximum.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5280375 Very fishy player, I thought he had big spade in his hand and I tried to get maximum value from it.

March

March was pretty hard month in poker. In beginning of month I lost 11 buy ins in 3000 hands. Few setup and few very bad plays for me. Then I withdrawed my rolls and I was using that "miniroll tactic" (you can read more from my earlier posts) and it did work really well for me. I managed to get up from that 11 buy ins hole and I was even up for 6 buy ins when looking in monthly result. I was very confident and I had good feeling of my play and I decided to deposit my roll back to FTP and at the same time someone pushed doomswitch on. In 4500 hands my winnings were 10 buy ins below EV. I had few terrible setups and good hands werent so good on river etc. So my month finished in catastrophe and final result was about 18 buy ins down. For relief Im getting some RB for about 4 buy ins.

After that worst dive I had few days break and I bought one month membership to DeucesCracked. I´ve downloaded pretty many HU series but I´ve watched only one yet. Its called Prinnyraiding and it deals pretty well with basics of HU and also adjusting to different playertypes, one episode is for one playertype. Because of that I might have overleveled myself in some situations  Maybe I watch DogIsHeadUp next, tought I´ve watched already two first episodes of that earlier.

I´ve also analysed my handhistories and I noticed that I make sometimes very beginner mistakes. Im not sure if I had leveled myself out during game but afterwards looking they are horrible mistakes. I think in heads up you can and should make river raises for bluff and Im leveling myself to call that because I think opponents are good enough to bluff there. But in these stakes they are really not bluffing in these situations. For example four colourcards in board and I have Q-high flush and I get 3betted on river and I shove over that, wtf? And there is also few clear spots that I should bet-fold the river but I call when Im obviously beaten.

Hands: 11962
Profit: -911d

Here is also graph of last month:

I give a try to Ongame once again

I deposited 250usd to Ongame and I was about to play some micro heads up there. I played NL20 and NL30 HU and I found Villain who was piece of gold. He played 95 from btn and 92 OOP, he was kind a maniac. Everything seemed good but he had some amazing run, he's every draw completed and crushed my overpairs and sets etc. He rivered trips when I was taking him to valuetown with TPTK, u know the story. I think I adjusted pretty well against that maniac player type, thanks to Pr1nnyraiding HU series.

Finally I was in point that I had only 12 bucks left from my deposited amount. I was mostly feeling like 0_o and cursing Ongame to deepest hell because of all those setups and giving that maniac villain such a good run. I had little break and started playing again. In end of that day my bankroll was about 300d, so I raised pretty well. I had to admit that I used little bit bigger stakes to get up again, mostly NL50. Im very comfortable of playing NL50 because I have played about 50k hands of NL50 @ FTP. And besides Ongames HU games are soft.

I´ve been playing still small stakes HU because I want to raise my bankroll carefully and not getting broke because of variance. Heres graph of few days games:

P.S. Ongames rake is horrible, more than 120usd in 2500 hands.

Not going so well

Stupid bluffs and setups, thats the spirit of dew last days. I´ve played NL20 and NL30 HU when I have opponents and NL50 when there is no lower games available. Mostly it starts well and I play lower stakes in beginning of session but afterall I find myself from NL50. Stupid me because of so small BRM. Since this day I wont play NL50 HU before my bankroll is more than 1500d.

Here are few hands from last days. Profits for last two days are -235d but monthly result is still up +75d.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5343315 I 3bet this now and then and sometimes just flatcall. Villain was fishy and called any hit atleast two streets. Also cbets a lot, over 90% so obvious C/R here. Here I was thinking that turn lead is so strong line that he might fold Kx or Qx so I checked. Villain betted so I put him on pair + draw type hand that he wont fold so I shoved.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5343330 Villain 3betted 11%, he betted too small and I have position so this is call. Flop is call and on turn I got some more equity against TP or overpair so I shoved. As you can see, theres some FE too.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5343334 Here I wasnt sure what would be best line here. Call for 4bet might be 77+ and AJ+. When Villain checked I betted mostly to get him fold but when he shoved I wasnt sure what his range is. I only beat here AK and smaller pocketpairs that he turns into a bluff. But I was bit commited and I decided to call. I think check back is not an option because I dont want to see any A or K and if he bets I mostly needs to fold.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5343351 This was pretty thin but I had reads that he haves some kind of draw because of history. I was 38/62 behind here but luckily Villain didnt hit.

Swinging

As I promised in last post I dont play NL50 HU yet. So I have played NL20 and NL30 HU games. I had two solid days and I made about +100d/day. After that I had quick 170 hands and went down -95d. One day I swinged everything between -85d and +75d and finally day ended about breakeven. Yesterday was +90d. I think I keep my promisen and keep grinding those smaller stakes at least for this month, propably until my BR is 1500d at Ongame. I think Im withdrawing all my cashbacks I get.

Here is graph for last few days and few hands.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5357169 Villain didnt 3bet nothing but air and draws so I decided to ship it in, read was right but result wasnt so good

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5357176 Same Villain as above

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5357173 This is superstandard for me but funny for Villain

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5359962 Nice hit on flop but Villain instashoved 0_o, I decided to call and hope that I wont draw dead.

Breakeven grinding

It seems that I just dont get my winning game back. Few days results are good and everything seems good but then I have one very bad day and all those good days results are gone. I think that I still semitilt sometimes and when run is bad results are not that good. I make stupid calls or bad shoves or so. One day I played against maniac player who opened only 60% from button but he 3better 50% of my button raises. I adjusted with 4betting and looser 3bet call range. 4bets worked well but on 3bet pots Villain had always nuts when I tryid to push him away from pot. That Villaintype is usually pretty well exploitable but I just had so cold deck so there was no much to do. Result against him was about -100d in NL30 and in that day result were -240d in 1300 hands.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5370042 Here I tried to C/R on flop, and betted for value on turn and river

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5370047 I think Villain fold everything other but heart hands here on turn

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5370048 Villain called my 4bet and there is PSB left so I think this is shove always when he checks here.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5370050 On flop I put him on draw or Kx because of raise. On turn I think it would be ok also to check behind.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5370054 Here I think raise turn is good too because I have to c/f river if I dont hit flush or 3 or A. I donkbetted for value on river because I dont think he valuebets 8x or 9x but he might call me with Jx or 9x or 8x or worse two pairs

Struggling

Poker is still hard, I struggle every day and I just cant get winning mode on. After last update result is +148d in 2600 hands.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5381196 RR-quads and maximum value. I would always second barrel that turn and river is good spot for overshove

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5381199 Nice flop and good hit on turn, I think check is good here against Villain with high aggression frequensy

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5381204 Notice preflop raise size. Excellent board, if Villain had Ax I have many outs and if he haves any diamong he will call shove

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5381210 Call to min3bet from position and two pairs on turn, bad run

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5381213 Trying to rep flush but Villain had flush, too small bet on turn maybe, but this how I have PSB left on river
