Luckbox Shines Again

Spent the whole saturday evening hanging out at Jeff's place where he made some terrific steak and we had lots of beer to go with it. It was a swingy weekend where I was down like 4k usd at some point before finally recovering to be up for like 2.5k usd. The swings at the omaha games are really great but I am glad I hung on and didn't monkey tilt when I was stuck for a few buy-ins early on. There were these spewtards who just shove with their bad draws and hit on the river. I got hit for two 1.5k-ish pots on the river early on to have a bad start to my session. To make the situation worse, I was running bad on the $169s super turbos on fulltilt. I did go deep in 2 MTTs, namely the weekly $162 at ongame and the $50 cube on fulltilt but couldn't win the flips when it matters. Getting deep and not making the big money gets me so tilted sometimes. You wonder when you're ever gonna finally make the big killer score. Luckily, being the big luckbox that I was,I managed to rake up a big pots from the fishes in quick succession and turned the losing session into a winning one. Will continue to clock more omaha hands in the coming weekends to get a bigger sample size. Also I'm intending on getting omaha tracker to keep a clearer record of the sessions played.

Even greater news for you Bangkok degen poker players who want to get a chance to degen it up with me.Together with Munchu, I would be heading to Bangkok from the 26th to the 28th of June for a short break. First objective would of course to be hanging outing with my dear team players as well as Mr Falang King otherwise known as Heiko The Great. Probably gonna do quite a bit of shopping over there and also to make a trip to the Four Face Buddha for prayers. Let's hope that everything else continues to run smooth in the days and months ahead.
