Jason Samsonov

History

Jason Samsonov is one of the rising young poker talent emerging from the asian region. Jason first got  his start in poker from dabbling in $30 home games at his friend's house. His interest for the game  then fuelled his thirst for improving his game which eventually led him to online poker. Like most beginners who lack bankroll management skills, Jason quickly lost thousands of dollars playing stakes which he had zero chance of beating.

Realising his mistake, Jason began studying the game diligently. His game improved leaps and bounds but his horrendous bankroll management skills still let him down. With a depleted bankroll, Jason decided to take one last shot at poker with a $100 loan from his close friend. It turned out to be the last deposit that he ever had to make.

From grinding micro stakes SNG's back in December 2007, he has progressed up the stakes to become a regular at the $100 SNGs across various sites.

Jason has also recently began trying his hands at MTTs with a little bit of success, he's currently top rankings on PocketFives for the Singapore leaderboard. We look forward to having him onboard our team as he will be producing videos, providing coaching as well as representing SuitedAces at various live events in the near future.
