Six months update!
My first blog post ended in "blew all my january profits in february". Sadly, that has been going on more or less for the past six months, digging deep into 2009 profits already. Terrible results -- the only positive thing I can think of is I didn't play much and therefore didn't lose more 
My theory for why I haven't cashed bigger than bubble money since January:
I was playing good and running hot for the end of 2009 and January and looking back now I can see my game started drifting from TTTTAG to LAG and from LAG to spew. If it was just the end of my hot run or if I started tilting when results declined, I dont know. But, Mixing spewwy play with tilt and no help from the deck I was totally lost after the summer. I had no idea what my game was, how it used to be or how it should be. My friends had to give me some very straight feedback on my game before I could admit to myself I have to stop playing if I cant fix it.

Life hasn't been all that bad this year, just poker. I had a great summer in Finland with friends and family and now I'm motivated to start grinding again and for the first time in half a year I actually want to play poker.
Live Events:
EPT Berlin main + side with prizes, luckily I left Berlin before the robbery. In March I flew to Malta for a highroller event of Mediterranean Poker Tour which i though would have a nice field but it registered only 14 players with Keith Gipson, Dan Fleyshman and Steven Van Zadelhoff as familiar faces. Melvin was waiting for me at the hotel bar and it didn't take too long for me to join him, I was the second player out. --EV but a fun trip and the Intercontinental Malta is great, very relaxing.
What else, what else... EMOP Italy was important for my live game, although, again, I failed to cash in any of the three events i played but i was able to change something in my table presence. Now i feel unaffected by other players or any events at the table. Last event i played was the €3k main event of Midnight Sun in Finland, no cash. 13 live tournaments and zero cashes 
Whats next:
Next wednesday, Sept 1st. I'm flying to Hong Kong where I meet with a poker friend who is joining me at PokerStars Macau Cup - Red Dragon. It's a 3 day event with $10,000 HKD buy-in hopefully full of Chinese gamblers. For online MTT I'll be watching my old videos from last year and getting my game together for the GSOP series starting September 19th.

MTT swings
Being my opening post for the blog I'll start by wrapping up the first months of 2010.
In the last quarter of 2009 I was playing a lot of PLO at Everest Poker leaving only sundays for MTT. This year I'm giving full focus to MTT, at least for now, and haven't played a single cashgame hand yet. I started the year grinding online from Budapest, Hungary and results were fantastic. I staked a friend and he won me about~8k (tytyty) and couple days later I started cashing myself aswell, leading January to somewhere around $25k profit.
For live action I competed in Everest Pokers Live The Dream campaign in Vienna but failed to claim one of the ten $100k sponsorship deals. A week or two later I flew to Paris to play in my first EPT in Deauville. I made it to Day2 with a decent stack and when there was around 200 players left (bubble 106) it started getting interesting. I was in seat 1 and Dario Minieri was in seat 5 and he opened from utg or utg+1 pretty much every orbit so I started to 3bet him light. I got him to fold or call+check-fold couple times before he finally 4bets me when 3betting him again, this time with AKo. I go all-in fast and he takes some time and decides to call me with his A4s after asking if I'm French 
. Flop comes 688, the turn gives Dario a 4 and the river splits the pot with another 6.
Couple orbits later Dario opens from utg+1 again and gets 3bet by a french guy. I think it's a good spot to shove with my TT here. Dario folds quickly as expected and french guy is taking minutes to decide if he should call or not. Finally he piles the chips and makes the easy call with AKo and knocks me out as the turn comes a K.
After busting out I registered for the €2,000 side-event starting at the same night but getting KO'd on the second hour with my AA against xx doesn't leave much of a story to tell. Since Deauville is dead on wintertime I took the train back to Paris early next morning and spent the next 24hours sightseeing the city before boarding my flight back to Budapest. I always thought Paris was overrated but now that I finally saw Eiffel, Arc de Triumphe, Louvre, Notre Dame etc. I have to say I couldn't have been more wrong, Paris is awesome!
I guess people hate long opening posts so I'll end it here and make a new one soon about EPT Berlin and how I blew all my January profits in February 
Also, I'm gonna upload some MTT videos asap and hopefully a PLO article too.
